Practice III — AI Architecture

Maestro

Email Engine

Transactional and lifecycle email engine. Replaced SendGrid in production.

01

Overview

Commodity email providers — SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun — solve a delivery problem on a generic stack. They do not solve the lifecycle problem: the choreography of nineteen different flows triggered by a single user state machine, the deliverability hooks that a regulated industry requires, the audit trail that a board reading the campaign metrics must trust.

Maestro is built around the lifecycle problem. Nineteen automated flows are defined as code, versioned in production, and observable end-to-end. Templating runs on the same schema as Parsifal, so an audience segment defined at the CRM layer flows through to the email engine without translation.
